Something went wrong.
I came out of the welfare and foster home systems, and had a very troubled childhood. So I understand how people are. There's always outcasts and some people just can't make it in society. And those are the people that I ended up helping the most.
About paul

A voice of the voiceless.

Paul's extraordinary story tells more than the tale of his love for animals. It's one of triumph and how he turned his traumatic past into a source of love, strength, and empathy for the homeless and their pets.

Despite his lack of physical and financial resources, Paul has made a lasting impact in his community, which he was recognized for when he received a Jefferson Award several years ago. His story shows the powerful role pets play in our lives—especially those overlooked and shunned by our society.

Paul estimates that he helps care for 60-80 dogs on the streets at any given time. The animals below are some of those dogs. However, Bubba, George, and Maggie are Paul's pets, and Lea is his sister's dog.

Our mission is to ensure Paul’s legacy endures, inspire others to take action, and educate viewers about a population that's largely misunderstood, while adding humanity to a community that's, more often than not, rejected by those they share the world with.

How to get involved.

We finished filming in early 2023. However, we still have quite a bit to do as we prepare to edit the film, and need your support to makes sure Paul's story gets told.
